Page 10 Ll 9.3 Essaid'écrasement NCHI 9.3.4 Remplacerletexteparlesuivant: Une force de compression croissant lentement est alors appliquee a la piece inter- médiaire. La force (N) indiquée dans le tableau, avec une tolérance de ±5 % doit etre atteinte en 30 s ± 3 s. La vitesse d'application de la force doit etre aussi lineaire que possible et sans a-coups. Si, apres I'application de la force (N), I'échantillon ne s'est pas écrasé de 3o % du diametre extérieur initial, alors la force est augmentée jusqu'a ce que cet écrasement de 30 % soit obtenu. La différence entre le diametre extérieur initial et le diametre de I'échantillon écrasé ne doit pas depasser 5o % du diametre initial, tant que la force de compression .est appliquée. NOTE - La dimension peut, par exemple, étre mesurée avec un calibre. AML Page 11 Ll 9.3 Compressiontest NCHW 9.3.4 Replace the text by the following: A slowly increasing compression force is then applied to the intermediate piece. The force (N) shown in the table, with a tolerance of ±5 %, shall be attained in 30 s ± 3 s. The speed of application of theforceshall be as linearas possiblewithout jerking. If, after the application of the force (N),the flattening of the sample does not reach 3o % of its initial outside diameter, then the force is increased until 3o % is reached. The difference between the initial outside diameter and the diameter of the flattened sample shall not exceed 5o % of the original diameter while the compression force is still applied.
