The sound insulation requirements presented here can be described and implemented for all currently common types of construction and component dimensions in accordance with the generally acknowledged rules of technology. The requirements represent a sound quality limit below which it is not permitted to go. Proposals for increased sound insulation to achieve higher qualities are not included in this standard.
