ICS 97.040.10 Classification number: Y81 Record number:30228-2011 QB Light Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China QB/T2531—2010 Replaced QB/T 2531 -- 2001 厨房家具 Kitchen furniture Issued on Nov.22,2010 Implemented on Mar.01, 2011 Issued by The Ministry of Industry and Information of the People's Republic of China QB/T2531-2010 Foreword This standard is developed through amendment made to the QB/T 2531 - 2001 “Kitchen furniture" Compared with the QB/T 2531 - 2001, the main differences are as follows: -- From the terms and definitions it has cancelled 11 terms and definitions for the base cabinet and countertop, etc.; it has added the edge treatment, accessories, auxiliary terms and definitions, as well as the terms and definitions defined in the GB/T 18884.1 -2002 and QB/T 3914-1999 (Chapter 3 of 2001 version; Chapter 3 of this standard); -- It has added the chapter of dimensions and kitchen cabinet design (Chapters 5 and 6 of this standard); - It has added the requirements for countertop appearance, requirements for countertop materials, sanitary requirements, safety requirements, requirements for fittings, requirements for accessories and requirements for installation (Articles 7.1.1, 7.3.2, 7.7 ~ 7.10 of this standard); -- It has deleted the requirements for the major dimensions, physical and chemical properties of drainage pipe in the base cabinet and countertop durability requirements (see the corresponding articles in Table 2 of 2001 version); --- It has adjusted the presentations of test methods from the clause way to table way; it has added the preparation of test specimen, inspection procedures and the test methods of materials (Chapters 8 of this standard); - From the inspection rules it has deleted the requirement for determination of superior quality and Class A products, and the reinspection rules; it has added the requirement for grouping batch (Articles 7.3.5 and 7.3.6 of 2001 version; Articles 9.2.1 and 9.3.1 of this standard); --- It has deleted the requirements for operation instructions (Article 10.2 of this standard); --It has amended the Annex A of the original standard (Annex A of 2001 version and Annex A of this standard); The Annex A of this standard is an informative Annex. This standard is proposed by the China Light Industry Federation. This Standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Furniture Standardization Center.
